Whiteshill and Ruscombe Neighbourhood Development Plan went through referendum on August 18th where there was a 21% turnout, with 88% voting in favour for the Plan.

Whiteshill and Ruscombe residents will go to the poll on August 18 to vote on Whiteshill and Ruscombe’s Neighbourhood Plan
The referendum on the Neighbourhood Development Plan is the last stage in the plan carried out by Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish Council.
If there is a majority “yes” vote then the plan will become a statutory planning document that can be used to support or challenge planning applications concerning the parish.

Neighbourhood Plan Funding
Whiteshill and Ruscombe have been successful in their funding bid for £7,000 for the Neighbourhood Plan. The grant is awarded by the Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning Programme led by Locality in association with RTPI/Planning Aid England, CDF and partners, available through the My Community Rights website
