Bike Ramp open event postponed

🚵 Whiteshill Bike Ramps – Reopening Update

Unfortunately, due to the recent weather and ground conditions, we have had to postpone the reopening of the Whiteshill Bike Ramps. We know how disappointing this is for everyone who has been looking forward to getting back out riding, and we share your frustration!

The fencing will remain in place for just over another week to allow the ground and ramps time to settle and dry out properly. This is important for health and safety, the long-term maintenance of the newly rebuilt ramps, and ensuring they are in the best possible condition for everyone to enjoy.

We will continue to monitor the weather and ground conditions closely. We are also looking at whether it may be possible to remove some fence panels to allow limited riding over half term, but this will depend entirely on conditions and whether it is safe to do so. We will keep everyone updated.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We want everyone back on the ramps as soon as possible, but we also need to make sure the hard work that has gone into rebuilding them is protected and that they are safe to use.

🤞 Fingers crossed for some drier weather soon!

Thank you for your continued support from Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish Council. 🌳🚲
