Parish News
Good morning,
Thank you for all your patience with the installation of the play equipment. The fencing is still up and this is because we are due to have an inspection on it next week. We are working on having it open as soon as we can. Please do enjoy the rest of the playing field, you can hire the boules from the shop and kick a ball round on the playing field, with plenty of space to still enjoy picnics and ice-creams from the shop.
A handful of volunteers installed our new noticeboard on the playing field earlier this week, it has a great artist’s map of the playing field
Another activity you could take part in is a Butterfly Count:
This is through the Butterfly Conservation and it lasts till 10 August. A wonderful opportunity to pause in a busy world and count butterflies. There is an app to download, details are on their website which means one can record and send data to them at the same time. https://bigbutterflycount.butterfly-conservation.org/
There are also many events occurring in the villages, please do look at the Events calendar on the Parish Council website: https://whiteshillandruscombe-pc.gov.uk/my-calendar/. It is The Two Villages Festival Quiz night tomorrow being held at Ruscombe School Rooms.
