New Councillors needed
At the recent Annual Parish Meeting, Cllr Rebecca Charley was re-elected as Chairman and Cllr Chris Brian was re-elected as Vice -Chairman. 7 Councillors are now on the Parish Council and there are two vacancies for co-option. Are you interested in being a Parish Councillor, do you want to represent your community, and be involved in local decision making. Contact the Parish Clerk for more information and an informal chat. Biodiversity Working Group
The new Biodiversity working group is underway and are planning to meet on the first Tuesdays of the month at The Star Inn at 7pm. A webpage will be set up soon with more information on and how you can be involved from small changes to big influences. one of the volunteers in the group is happy to survey local ponds for newts, if you are interested please get in touch with James Pattenden on james@cotswoldecology.co.uk
Annual Parish Meeting
This will take place this Thursday (23rd May) and we will have some of the school children performing songs they sang at their Young Voices Choir event, along with a talk from St Paul’s Church on their current status. Refreshments will be available afterwards, and you can chat to the Councillors about plans for this year and the future. Everyone welcome.
