Would you like to keep receiving Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish updates?
Please tell us before 25 May 2018
Why are we doing this?
The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are due to come into effect on 25 May 2018, replacing the Data Protection Act. We currently hold your personal contact information on our e-newsletter database because you have in the past indicated you would like to receive our e-newsletters. In order to meet the new regulations we must ensure that you would still like to receive them.
Here’s what you need to do…
Please go to the Parish Council website and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will be able to ‘Subscribe to our Newsletter’. We will hold your contact details on our database, held on our secure account with our email marketing service provider. By signing up you will be opting in to receive regular updates on Parish Council information relevant to the community. This will allow us to keep you up to date with news, events and initiatives in and around Whiteshill and Ruscombe. The database will only be used for this purpose and will be used solely by Whiteshill and Ruscombe Parish Council.
Remember to sign up by 25th May to continue to receive our newsletters and e-alerts. If you change your mind you can withdraw your consent at any time either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our e-newsletters or by contacting us directly to let us know you would like to be removed from the list.
After the 25th May the Parish Council will only use the new method of contacting you, so if you haven’t signed up you will stop receiving e-mails.
